Jorge Javier, forced to present 'Survivientes 2023' with sunglasses: "I have removed my eyelids because I had a lot of skin"

One more Thursday, the Survivors 2023 gala has landed on Telecinco. On this occasion, the gala was marked by the appearance of Jorge Javier on the set wearing sunglasses that protected him from light both frontally and from the sides.

The purpose of Jorge Javier's appearance wearing sunglasses is to protect his eyes after having undergone surgery: "I have been convalescing from a very hard operation these days", explained the presenter.

On March 17, the presenter underwent a blepharoplasty, an operation that aims to correct drooping eyelids due to age: "On Friday morning I underwent a blepharoplasty, that's why you'll see me on Thursday presenting the Survivors 2023 gala with sunglasses. I had surgery because I needed it and to remind me that I am human," he explained.

"The thing is so interesting that I have operated on my eyes to see everything well," the presenter joked when entering the set of Survivors 2023. "I have been convalescing from a very hard operation these days. I have removed my eyelids because I had a lot of skin ", he added visibly satisfied.

The man from Badalona has spent these days at home watching television and has taken the opportunity to congratulate all the people who work at Mediaset España: "I have seen television, only Mediaset, and thank you very much for making this television that entertains me", has commented.

"I want to thank all the people behind the cameras. All the people who make Mediaset, the television that I watch and in which I believe," he added visibly proud, drawing applause from the audience present on the set.

It should be noted that the retouching took place shortly after he presented the Survivors gala, at half past seven in the morning on Friday, according to what he himself recounts in his Lecturas blog: "I entered the hospital so tired that the little time I was Waiting for them to take me down to the operating room, I spent it sleeping, I was so nervous," he explained.

"I have a face like a full moon and eyes as if I had been caught by a Rocky band in his prime and he had given me what was mine and what was from my cousin," the presenter has described.
