Singer Jason David Frank, the green Power Ranger, has died at the age of 49. The longest-lived of the Power Rangers began the legendary franchise in 1993 as Tommy Oliver, a fictional character from the American television series.

The reasons for his death are unknown, although some sources suggest that he committed suicide. The way in which the news of his death has spread throughout this Sunday has been shocking. First it was his manager who announced it on Twitter, but hours later he deleted the message.
