Israel Fernández and Diego del Morao, flamenco with very old words

The Festival del Mil·lenni proposes for these dates, and after yesterday's concert by Gipsy Kings, an evening of great artistic intensity by cantaor Israel Fernández, who will be accompanied on guitar by the also superlative Diego del Morao. The appointment is today at the Palau de la Música (9:00 p.m.).

Along with the aforementioned guitarist, Fernández has formed one of those couples that all have the potential to go down in the history of the genre due to their growing and varied contributions. La Vanguardia subscribers have a 15% discount on the price of tickets, provided they are purchased at Entradas de Vanguardia.

The contributions are produced both in the curiosity shown, in the breadth of expressive views and, as a climax, by an outstanding qualitative bar.

Fernández's career was consolidating in a brilliant and progressive way, as reflected by his record production of four albums, the last two being Universo Pastora and Amor (east of 2020) which have consolidated him as one of the great figures of the genre and of music in Spain.

And it has been his close creative collaboration and exchange with Del Morao that has led him to take a spectacular leap in his visibility thanks, above all, to his very intense performances on stage.

Not by chance, Diego del Morao is considered today by many as the most important and influential guitarist of the present time.
