Hermoso's brother recognizes the pressures from Rubiales' environment after the kiss

The brother of the player Jennifer Hermoso has assured today before the judge of the National Court Francisco de Jorge how from those around the then president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Luis Rubiales they were pressured for the player to support him after the kiss from the World Cup final in Sydney.

The 'Rubiales case' has begun a new phase today with the testimony of several witnesses that will last until October 2. The first to testify were Hermoso's brother and a friend of hers who was with the player at all times after winning the World Cup final.

Both have maintained before the investigator who is investigating Rubiales for the crimes of sexual assault and coercion, that Rubiales and his entourage maintained constant pressure on Hermoso and his family so that she would tone down the matter and maintain that the kiss he gave her during the congratulations It was consented.

According to legal sources, the brother and the friend have not only maintained that Hermosa's version at all times was that she did not consent to that kiss, in addition to recounting how they tried to stop the player from going further with the matter because it could harm Rubiales.

On the part of Rubiales' defense, the judge has taken statements from some expert witnesses who have analyzed the images of the moment of the kiss and in which they have maintained that he did ask the player if he could give her a kiss. "A piquito?" was what the president of the RFEF supposedly said to the player, something that Hermoso has flatly denied.

Among the statements that are pending are those of several directors of the Federation (Albert Luque, Rubén Rivera, Miguel García Caba and Patricia Pérez) as well as that of three teammates from the Spanish soccer team: Alexia Putellas, Irene Paredes and Misa Rodríguez.
