Has Beyoncé bleached her skin?: Experts respond to criticism from some fans

Beyoncé is one of the most important artists on the international music scene. On October 1, the singer said goodbye to one of the most important tours of her career, the Renaissance World Tour, with which she once again conquered the hearts of thousands of followers around the world and with which she toured a total of 56 cities between Europe and the United States.

Additionally, this coming Friday, December 1, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé will hit theaters, a documentary with which the singer's followers will be able to experience in first person one of the concerts that the singer offered during her last tour. On the occasion of the grand premiere, the preview of the documentary was held on November 25 at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California.

The artist dazzled everyone with her spectacular silver dress designed by Donatella Versace. But to everyone's surprise, the singer did not walk through the red carpet and she entered the theater when the lights were off and the documentary had already begun to be shown. For this reason, there are no images of the singer during the preview, beyond the two photographs that she published on her social networks and with which she left all of her followers shocked.

And as a result of this publication, the networks began to fill with comments about the singer's skin color. And many have come to claim that the artist had lightened her skin tone. But this Monday, the media El Español answered all these doubts through an interview with two professional photographers, José Gegúndez and Javier Carbajal. ''I have seen a million photos of Queen Letizia, to give you an example, in which it seems that she has hyper-dark skin and when I see my photos, she has the same skin every day," Gegúndez declared to El Español .

A situation that was repeated with the images of Beyoncé. ''It depends on the white balance, the light there is, whether flash is used or not. In this case, yes, it seems that they are made with flash,' she assured. ''With the silver dress the light seems whiter, but it's not that the skin is being bleached, which I don't know, but it's because of the light that illuminates the character and the white balance that the photographer used. Silver also helps make everything look whiter,'' the photographer stated.
