Georgina Rodríguez did not want to miss the 2023 Cannes festival, one of the most important red carpets of the year. The one from Jaca arrived at the film contest wearing a combination of a tight dress and fluorine shoes.
Georgina Rodríguez made the red carpet shine at the premiere of L'été dernier, the new film by Catherine Breillat, at the Cannes Film Festival. Invited as an ambassador for L'Oreal Paris, VOGUE Spain snuck into her room at the Hôtel Martinez to find out all the details of her preparation.
When starting the video, Georgina Rodríguez introduces her team and instantly the influencer talks about her makeup: "I want the makeup to be earth tones and very natural." Shortly after, she comments on the design of the dress that she will wear in Cannes: “I designed it three weeks ago. This year I wanted to go gold. The dress is haute couture; designed by hand.
“I prefer hydration with a good cream and a good serum rather than wearing a lot of makeup, I like to leave my skin almost as it is. My ritual before an event is to prepare everything a couple of days before so I don't forget anything and I pray before going out on the red carpet. Praying makes me feel at peace”, says Georgina.
While she is being made up, the celebrity receives a plate of Iberian sausage: "The worst thing I have about preparing a red carpet or an event is trying on my clothes. For me the days of the red carpet are a party, Iberian…", says the young woman while hold the plate with sausages.
She even says that she asked her cook this morning for a chickpea stew: "And that's how I arrived today, looking like a puffer fish," Georgina joked with her team.
