Four men between the ages of 18 and 19 residing in Madrid have been injured in the early hours of this Thursday when giving up a balcony in Sanxenxo, in the Galician province of Pontevedra, and one of them is very serious, reports 112 and 061.

The young people, all men, were at 12:45 a.m. on a balcony located on Calle Madrid de Sanxenxo when the stone balustrade gave way and they fell into the light well from the first floor.

Sources of the investigation have reported that eight people were in the house, all residents of Madrid, including the son of the owner of the property.

061 treated the four young people who fell, discharged one (R.U.B., 18 years old) at the town's continuous care point and transferred the other three to different hospitals.

One of them, A.L.M., aged 18, was transferred to the Clinical Hospital of Santiago, where he is admitted in a very serious condition.

P.F.A. and M.C.D., both 19 years old, one admitted to surgery and the other to trauma with a small fracture.

The mayor of Sanxenxo, Telmo Martín, has asked the municipal Department of Urban Planning to review the rest of the balconies in case any action or preventive measure is necessary, the City Council has reported.
