The command, responsible for US military operations in Europe, part of Asia and the Middle East, has detailed that the aircraft was carrying out "a routine air refueling mission as part of a training military".
The military initially announced the crash on Saturday and said the cause is under investigation, but there is no indication of any hostile activity involved.
