First images of Céline Dion in public after more than three years

Good news for the millions of fans who follow daily updates on the health status of the singer Céline Dion. After three years away from the spotlight and being diagnosed with rigid person syndrome, the interpreter of It's all coming back to me now, My heart will go on or I'm alive attended a public event last Monday in company of some loved ones.

The Canadian decided to attend a hockey game in the city of Las Vegas on October 30. On that occasion, the Vegas Golden Knights faced off against the Montreal Canadiens. Although some American media echoed the news and announced that Dion had been seen at the sporting event, it was Chantal Machabée, vice president of communications for the Canadian team, who confirmed the artist's presence at the match through a post on social networks.

Machabée published a photo of her winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1988 on her official Instagram account. The woman accompanied the image with some beautiful words dedicated to Dion: ''From the great visit to our game yesterday in Las Vegas. Thank you Céline Dion for your great generosity. "The whole team was very happy to meet you and your family."

The 55-year-old artist attended the game with her three children, René-Charles, Nelson and Eddy. The family posed happily in the Montreal Canadiens locker room, where they were chatting and joking with some of the players and members of the club's board of directors.

The Instagram posts have attracted the attention of the media, as well as the millions of fans that Dion accumulates around the world. It must be taken into account that the artist is going through a difficult personal moment due to her illness and that no one expected to see her so apparently healthy and independent.

Almost a year ago, in December 2022, Céline Dion publicly announced that she suffers from a strange condition called stiff person syndrome, a rare and incurable neurological disorder that affects one in a million people in the world.

Because of this, the artist had to cancel her tour for next year and say no to countless public acts and events. Although her sister had announced that the singer had ups and downs and that she had not lost her voice, her fans have been very excited about her seeing her 'so good' in the images of the hockey game.
