The same day that Ciudadanos confirmed his total decomposition in Alicante, the leader of the PP showed his optimism before the electoral appointment, although he warned that it was very difficult for him to "get four absolute majorities" to govern the Xunta de Galicia.
"Our polls tell us that yes, there will probably be a change but, I insist, it has been very difficult for me to obtain four absolute majorities and the majorities are not confirmed until the electoral count," he warned.
In the PP they have assumed that conquering the Valencian Community and the city of Valencia on 28M would be their great electoral "success", since they would snatch the greatest autonomy from the PSOE chaired by a socialist, Ximo Puig, with the support of Compromís and Unides Podem. It would be, they add, the definitive step to wrest their territorial power in Spain from the Socialists and to better prepare the battle for the presidency of the Government in the elections scheduled for the end of the year.
