Feijóo responds to Yolanda Díaz that he has more management trienniums than her

Feijóo responds to Yolanda Díaz that he has more management trienniums than her

The economy is the strong point of Alberto Núñez Feijóo, or at least he wants it to be, in his politics as leader of the main opposition party, as in the Andalusian campaign that begins today, where the good management of Juanma Moreno is the mantra of the president of the PP who has supported the president of the Board, already on the first day of the campaign, with three acts in the province of Malaga.

A strong point, claims the PP, in the face of the country's economic situation, because, says the PP, of Pedro Sánchez's policy. A flag that the popular do not intend to give up, no matter how good the employment data is, like yesterday's, which Feijóo criticized for considering them made up, which led Vice President Yolanda Díaz to affirm that the PP leader is not prepared to govern and that he is concerned about his ignorance of some matters.

The response has not been long in coming and Feijóo, far from backing down, has come out to respond to the vice president, reminding her that he has "many more three-year management periods than her" and reaffirmed his criticism. In case he didn't understand them, he explained them in a simple way to the vice president. The temporary contracts that existed until now are being converted, due to the labor reform, which does not allow this temporary nature, into discontinuous fixed contracts.

He even gave data. If the number of discontinuous fixed contracts increased by 20,000 in 2021, that figure has risen to 264,000 in 2022. These figures are based on affirming that those contracts that were previously temporary are now becoming discontinuous fixed. The difference is that before those who had temporary contracts, when their contract ran out, they went on the dole, and now the discontinuous permanent ones don't, because that's how it is legislated.

"That's what any professor, any expert, says," said Feijóo during a visit to the Dekra company, in which he stated that the vice president's criticisms do not make a dent in him, because he has also called the president of the Bank of Spain ignorant.

Núñez Feijóo came to tell the second vice-president of the Government that she has nothing to teach him and recalled that he knows her well and is used to her disqualifications, since "I had her as leader of the opposition in Galicia, while I was president". And his balance, according to Feijóo, does not present the service record that he can present. "She was the leader of the second group of the Galician Parliament and she was left with zero deputies, that is, extra-parliamentary, that is her balance.

After these remarks, the president of the PP defended his anti-crisis proposals, which include the temporary reduction of taxes and the reduction of bureaucratic expenses, because in his opinion, having a government with 22 ministries, with the economic situation in Spain, "is a indecency".

Regarding the anti-crisis measures that the Government intends to extend, Feijóo did not want to comment "because we do not know them, and the Government is still discussing what they will be, because there is no single vision in the Government. The president of the PP considers that what should What the Government does is keep its word and process the measures as a bill, so that the groups, as was Sánchez's commitment in approving the previous decree-law, "so that we can improve it." What Feijóo is clear about is that the measures approved in April "have not worked or have had very limited effects," he said.

The president of the PP contrasted the results of Pedro Sánchez's economic policy with the management of Juanma Moreno at the head of the Junta de Andalucía with tax cuts, showing that with less taxes more can be collected, Feijóo stressed, and that it can be have economic growth and create jobs. "An example, the Andalusian, of which all Andalusians feel proud, whether they vote for the PP or not," he said.

That is why his message to the Andalusians is that they "make their own personal balance and decide what they prefer, if Juanma's economic model, or the one that does not work in Spain".

What Feijóo did try is not to try to turn the Andalusian regional elections into a general primaries, so that what happened in Castilla y León does not happen, where Casado gave them a character of Spanish politics. "What happens in these elections is and is thinking for Andalusia and they have enormous importance for eight million Spaniards, the Andalusians, that is why the focus of these elections, he indicated, "is Andalusia, Andalusia and Andalusia".

Of course, he pointed out, "the consequences of the results of the Andalusian elections will have to be analyzed as of June 19". That is to say, although the president of the PP insists that in the elections "we are playing whether Andalusia looks to the future or to the past", the PP will draw conclusions from what happened in Andalusia and draw parallels with Spanish politics.
