Feijóo launches for the Hispanic vote to achieve a majority that does not make him depend on Vox

Not a single vote is left over. On May 28, Alberto Núñez Feijóo needs everything possible and not only for Isabel Díaz Ayuso and José Luis Martínez Almeida to retain the Community of Madrid and the City Council of the capital, because losing either of the two places would be a very hard setback, but because he needs a resounding victory that convinces the majority that he can be president of the Government, and that he can be without depending on Vox.

And since he does not want to lose a vote, he has launched himself for the Hispanic vote, that of all those Latin Americans already settled in Spain, with nationality, who can vote. And to attract them, what better than a party with the name "Europe is Hispanic", organized by the PPE, where bachata, regetton and a Hispanic leader to entertain them, Henry Méndez, delighted those present. Many Hispanics, Cubans, Venezuelans, Colombians, Bolivians, Dominicans all with their flags, some with typical costumes from their countries, and with a clear preference, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, although the rally was also led by Martínez Almeida and Alberto Núñez Feijóo.

Ayuso spoke his language making a comparison between the Sánchez government and some Latin American governments from which many of those present fled until arriving in Spain. He spoke to them of "liberticidal" governments, of "appropriation of power", of "corruption" and of "buying wills" by exchanging votes "to grant nationality", with a presentation: "We are freedom".

But Feijóo was not far behind, especially when it came to criticizing Sánchez and his relations with certain Latin American leaders. The president of the PP launched a message of unity between Spain and Latin America, and distancing himself from the policy that Pedro Sánchez carries out with respect to Latin America: "I feel proud of not paying homage to apprentice rulers of autocrats, nor to autocrats who use their people to improve them", and the attendees applauded wildly: "I do not miss meeting with some leaders of Latin American nations", he stressed without citing any in particular, and just when the president of the government is at the Ibero-American Summit.

Feijóo prefers them, the Hispanics who work, those who have had to come to Spain to have a future, as the Spaniards did in their day who had to go to America in search of a better life: "the who does not resign herself to populism, the one who resists, the one who works". The president of the PP stands by his side, "close to those who have come to work in Spain, those who respect its laws and accept the Constitution and feel Uruguayan, Venezuelan, Peruvian, Ecuadorian and Spanish, because it is compatible".

The popular leader seeks his vote by appealing to what most moves and moves Latin Americans living in Spain. "I will always be close to those who fight for freedom and far from those who threaten and violate it," and the attendees burst into applause." For this reason, he solemnly promised to be "the president of all Hispanics in Spain , and I assure you that I will not disappoint you".

But for that to happen, there is an intermediate stage, the municipal and regional elections, and you also need your bloc. He appealed for this support to an "open" party, which does not believe in "block politics, in trench politics, in wall policies", but in the policy of "shake hands, look each other in the eye and move on". The elections will be the moment "to leave the trenches, the tension and unite in the future."

Feijóo appears before Hispanics with the conviction that "a better policy is possible, that a better government is possible, that freedom can be defended" and that "Hispanicity is a commitment to the past, present and future."
