Fallas de Valencia 2023 | This is how the mascletà was this Saturday, March 18

The Aitana de Belgida pyrotechnics made the "heart of Valencia" beat this Saturday, the penultimate day of the Fallas, with a mascletà that represented the pumping of a heart in the capital's City Hall square, precisely in front of the municipal falla, 'Valencian Cardioversion'.

According to estimates by the Local Police, the mascletà has brought together more than 120,000 people throughout the area of influence of the Plaza del Ayuntamiento and may have become one of the busiest in recent years.

The Valencian firm, established in 2007, which had yet to shoot in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento since its last scheduled show was canceled due to the pandemic, has begun with a Valencian firecracker that has given way to the simulation of a heart rhythm.

It is the same sound that is heard in the square when the municipal falla, which this year represents a giant heart made of wood and designed by Marina Puche, turns on its light show, which illuminates it red and activates its sound beats.

Under the slogan "the heart of Valencia", Aitana's digital thunder has given way to downloads, aerial and ground thunder around the entire square.

With an extreme and organic sound, they have represented the hearts of all Valencians who want to party and fail as a tribute to a pyrotechnic sector that is still more alive than ever.

They have used five retentions of ground fire, in progression in terms of the rhythm and size of the thunderclaps, in line with the aerial fire that has been fired on the four sides of the square.

The earthquake has had more than 30 branches, with a special terrestrial discharge of thunder, which has been increasing its power and has closed with a series of multi-effect discharges, warning thunder and digital terrestrial in rotation around the square.

With a final discharge in the form of a single blow of air and ground thunder, Pirotecnia Aitana has represented the tremendous end of the shot that has made the city beat.

This signature is a regular at the Fallas in Valencia, with shots such as the one at the nocturnal mascletà on March 12 of last year or the one on March 17, canceled by the rain and finally shot on May 8.

Aitana also participated in the 2022 2022 Sanfermines International Author's Fireworks Competition, where she won first prize from the public and the silver Sanfermin prize from the jury.

The Minister of Equality, Irene Montero, the deputy of Más País Íñigo Errejón and the deputy secretaries of the PP Borja Sémper and Esteban González Pons, among other representatives of different political forces, as well as the Archbishop of Valencia, Enrique Benavent, were present.
