Exhibition-Misser Mascó, winner of the first prize of Sección Especial de las Fallas 2023

The Exhibition-Misser Mascó commission has won the first prize of the Special Section of the Great Fallas of 2013, with a monument by David Sánchez called 'Cromática'. The second prize went to Plaza del Pilar (Estudi Falles3D) and the third to Convento Jerusalem - Mathematician Marzal (Pere Baenas).

This was announced this Thursday by the councilor for Festive Culture and president of the Fallera Central Board (JCF), Carlos Galiana.

The first prize for experimental failures went to Plaça de l'Arbre, (Miguel Hache) and the second to Xiva-Francisco de Llano (Giovanni Nardin), the third to Jesús Morante Borrás-Caminot (La Punta) (Ricard Balanza Martínez ), the fourth for Borrull-Socors (Didac Ballester), the fifth for Castielfabib-Marqués de Sant Joan (Reyes Pe), the sixth for Lepant-Guillem de Castro (Anna Ruiz), the seventh for Doctor Joan Josep Dómine-Port ( Ignacio Ferrando Tamarit), the eighth for La Vall d'Albaida-La Canal de Navarrés (J. Vicente Vendrell Catalá /Aureli), the ninth for Tres Camins-Pinedo (Ricard Balanzá) and the tenth for Misser Rabassa-Poeta Maragall (Juan Ruiz Recio and Amparo Ordaz Ceballos).

As for the Caliu prizes for the big mistakes, they have been distributed as follows: 1st Àngel Guimerà-Painter Vila Prades (The Committee), 2nd Misser Rabassa-Poet Maragall (Juan Ruiz Recio and Amparo Ordaz Ceballos), 3rd Palleter-Erudit Orellana (Rafael Martínez Reig), 4th Santa Genoveva Torres-Architect Tolsà (David Sánchez Llongo) and 5th Baron de San Petrillo-Leonor Jovani (Arturo Vallés Bea).

The reading of the awards began with the incident report of the jury's tour, in which it was realized that more than a dozen commissions have not been able to plant their fault by not receiving it, they have planted the monument themselves by going to the artist's workshop, have unfinished flaws, figures are missing or do not agree with those received.

In this regard, the president of JCF has sent a "message of solidarity" to all the commissions that "after a year of work have not seen their failure planted in a timely manner"
