This Sunday, October 9, the draw for the qualifying phase of Euro 2024 will be held. The event will take place at the Festhalle exhibition center in Frankfurt, starting at twelve noon, and the 53 member federations of the UEFA.

They will be divided into ten groups of five or six teams and will face each other round-trip between March and November 2023. The first ten and the second ten will automatically qualify for the final phase and three more places will be decided in the play- March 2024 offs.

Germany, as the host of this edition of the Euro, is automatically classified for the final phase, so it is excluded from the draw. In addition, Russia, currently suspended by the UEFA Executive Committee for its involvement in the war with Ukraine, will also not be in the draw.

The 'UNL' pot is made up of the four finalists of the Nations League (Netherlands, Croatia, Spain and Italy) and placed in groups of five teams, so that they can participate in the final phase of June 2023.
