Eleven people, including a child under three years old, have been injured by smoke inhalation in the fire of a residential building in Canet d'en Berenguer (Valencia), as reported by the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU). .
The incident occurred this morning, around 2:20 a.m., in a building on Avenida Blasco Ibáñez de Canet, the same sources have indicated.
Two SAMU units and another two from SVB have been mobilized to the area, whose medical services have assisted the 11 people for smoke inhalation. Of them, six have been transferred to the Sagunt Hospital and another five were discharged 'on site'.
The people evacuated to the hospital are a three-year-old girl, two women aged 63 and 65, and three men aged 30, 49, and 67. The other five people who did not need to be transferred to a health center are two women who lived in the building where the fire occurred, two local police officers and a civil guard.
