During a show near Detroit, Carlos Santana falls on the stage

Carlos Santana, the guitar legend, is now in recovery after collapsing onstage during a concert near Detroit.

The 74-year old musician collapsed while performing at Pine Knob Music Theatre, Clarkston, Michigan.

Santana was treated on stage by medics in photos and videos posted to social media. As he was being wheeled away from the stage, he appeared to wave at the audience. This elicited cheers among those who remained at that location.

Santana's manager Michael Vrionis stated to CBS News that Santana had been suffering from heat exhaustion as well as dehydration.

The statement said that he was being monitored at a nearby hospital and was doing well.

Vrionis announced that Santana's Wednesday night show in Burgettstown (Pennsylvania) has been postponed.

Santana is currently on a Miraculous Supernatural tour.
