Durant is injured in warm-up and postpones his debut at home with the Suns

Kevin Durant had to postpone his debut with the Phoenix Suns at home last night due to a left ankle injury during warm-up. The Washington D.C. player, who joined the team in February from the Brooklyn Nets, slipped while practicing some tackles, and was unable to participate in the game.

Durant debuted last week with 23 points against the Charlotte Hornets, 20 against the Chicago Bulls and 37 against the Dallas Mavericks, a game in which he starred in a decisive play to give his team victory.

After the incorporation of the double champion of the NBA, the Suns arrived at the appointment with the Thunder after adding three victories of three. In last night's game Devin Booker led the Arizona team to victory (132-101) with 44 points and a fantastic 17 of 23 shooting from the field.

The one who also ended up injured was Luka Doncic. The Slovenian had to withdraw from the game that the Dallas Mavericks lost against the New Orleans Pelicans (113-106) due to severe pain in his left thigh. In the press conference after the match, the player acknowledged that his quadriceps "is not right" and announced that he will undergo an MRI and physiotherapy sessions.

Doncic, who finished the game with 15 points on 4-of-14 shooting, said he noticed this problem after the All-Star break. His coach, Jason Kidd, was concerned about the player's condition. "We all realize that he doesn't move well, when he shoots, when defending, he conditions everything. He's trying to fight and help his teammates. Let's hope it's nothing serious, we have a couple of days before the game with Memphis", assured.
