Do you know the super insect against pests?

While I was making the blue reflections on the artichoke flower, there was a beautiful green lacewing in it, to which I was also able, for a moment, to give a touch of blue when photographing it for this report in Readers' Photos from La Vanguardia.

It is lucky to find this insect among flowers and plants. Yes, that's right, because it is considered a natural bio controller of harmful pests.

Indeed, there are insects that are beneficial for plants and this is undoubtedly one of the most prominent. Their presence can occur naturally, but they can also be introduced on purpose into the infected crop or garden to eliminate the pest.

Green lacewings are great predators even though they are very delicate-looking insects, with a wingspan of between 6 and 65 mm.

Adult green lacewings have a soft body. It is worth looking at the detail of its four transparent wings, which contain a network of fine veins, as seen in the photographs.

Its eyes are golden in contrast to its greenish body. The truth is that they move mainly at night, although they are attracted by light. In this case, I have also portrayed them with a bluish touch with the reflection technique.
