Deputy Marta Trenzano denounces Vox for a hate crime for "signaling her" on social networks

The socialist deputy in Congress and former mayor of Algemesí, Marta Trenzano, has announced the filing of a complaint against Vox Algemesí for hate crime, after the far-right group published a message on Instagram accusing the deputy of "sell Spain" and point it out on social networks after voting in favor of the investiture of Pedro Sánchez.

Marta Trenzano has criticized that this happens for the simple fact "of exercising her function as a representative of the citizens" in the plenary session of the Congress of Deputies and has assured that in a democratic system "there is no room for accusations against representatives of the citizens."

Furthermore, Trenzano has wondered “with what intention this publication was made” and has regretted that it was published “to generate a situation of animosity” towards her “for the simple fact of exercising her functions in a democratic system.”

“From the PSPV-PSOE we are not going to allow anyone to be singled out for using their functions and defending what democracy allows us to defend,” highlighted Trenzano, who also reiterated that “we are not going to allow hate crimes or accusations.” that could endanger the colleagues of our party.”
