The acting second vice president, Yolanda Díaz, has been very harsh with the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, this Wednesday, during her meeting with the Plurinational Group of Sumar in Congress, where she has "formally" asked him to resign from running for office. the investiture, an operation that he described as “constitutional fraud.”
Díaz considers that the investiture plenary session is a fraud, he explained, because Alberto Núñez Feijóo is not working to obtain the necessary support, but rather has settled into "removal dynamics" against "an unborn progressive coalition government." And he accused the PP (“those in charge in the PP”) of having already launched the slogan that “anything goes against an unborn coalition government.”
For Díaz, it is very serious that José María Aznar, with his call for "national rebellion" and his efforts for the "destabilization of the country" is "leading the way" for Núñez Feijóo and installing the PP in an "abdication of politics" that It reveals, on the one hand, in Díaz's opinion, the “nonexistence of a PP project for Spain” and that, on the other, it is aimed at camouflaging “the deep leadership crisis that the PP is experiencing.”
In the face of these “removal dynamics” and “destabilization” efforts, Díaz asked the deputies of his parliamentary group to work from “serenity” to fulfill the “23J mandate”, which, he explained, is none other than “the expansion of rights” and the “advancement of the country.”
Díaz stressed that Feijóo has always used Trumpist political techniques and recalled how he had no qualms, 15 years ago, in resorting to fake news and hoaxes to attack his predecessor as president of the Xunta de Galicia, the socialist Emilio Pérez Touriño.
