A man has been injured in critical condition after being shot by the Mossos d'Esquadra during a police chase on the A-7 in Vandellòs and Hospitalet de l'Infant (Tarragona).
The Mossos were chasing the suspect because he had allegedly stolen a car in Amposta (Tarragona), the police force reported this Saturday in a tweet collected by La Vanguardia.
When the man arrived at the checkpoint that the police had installed in Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant, he turned around and tried to ram the patrol car that was chasing him. The man has been critically injured by the shot of an agent.
