Balcells, recently arrived at the head of the Department, has detailed that he has mild symptoms, like Verge, and that he will telework in the coming days as a precaution. In a tweet, the head of Salut has valued the fact of being vaccinated and has called for "extreme prudence and prevention." "All those who can have to be vaccinated", he has concluded him.
The call for vaccination coincides with an increase in diagnoses of respiratory infections. In the case of covid, there has been an increase in hospital admissions. Salut declared 86 more admissions over the past week, representing a total of 761 hospitalized. In primary care, 9,335 positives were detected between November 21 and 27, while from November 14 to 20, 10,509 cases had been detected. On the other hand, there are 27 people admitted to the Intensive Care Units (ICU), three more than in the previous week. Salut also declared ten dead, nine of whom were over 80 years old.
