Colau feels hurt with Collboni but does not rule out agreeing with him again

The mayoress of Barcelona feels disappointed with her first deputy mayor until a few days ago, the socialist Jaume Collboni, for his departure from the municipal government but, at the same time, she does not rule out agreeing again with the PSC after the elections on May 28 because she has learned to be “pragmatic”.

In an interview on TVE's La 2 and Ràdio 4, Colau has been very critical of his former partner, of whom he has ironically said that he has chosen to "have coffee and take photos" in freedom. According to the mayoress, this attitude of Collboni is a "lack of respect" towards the rest of the councillors, including those of the PSC, who continue to work until the end of their mandate.

Despite the deterioration of her relationship with Jaume Collboni (“she is not having the best of times”, she has said), Ada Colau has reiterated that, if necessary, she would agree to a left-wing government led by herself and in which she would like to see both the PSC and ERC were there.

Ada Colau has not ruled out that after the municipal elections, “surprising” pacts will open their way. She has specifically referred to a possible pact between Junts and the PSC, a formula that the mayoress of Barcelona considers "unusual".

In this sense, he wondered if the socialist militancy would welcome an agreement with the independentistas of Junts and with Xavier Trias, whom Colau points out as his "maximum rival" because he defends a model of the city opposite to that developed by the commons in these last eight years.
