Sources from the leadership of the party in Catalonia, who assure that since Genoa they have not spoken with them, flatly reject this possibility, raised by Feijóo in an interview in El Mundo on Sunday, because they are not willing to alter the candidacies of Ciudadanos, " clean and independent", as indicated, to become a "PP franchise" or a "Frankenstein coalition with Valents and Vox".
If Feijóo has launched this idea, it is because in a certain way he assumes his "weakness" in Catalonia, points out a member of the Catalan executive, who recalls that the thesis of an always "peaceful" relationship between Ciudadanos and the PP is illusory, since there are many members of the party who would prefer a rapprochement with the PSC and the PP inspire a strong rejection in them.
