Citizens denounce before the Prosecutor the decree law that refuses to apply 25% of Spanish

The leader of Ciudadanos, Inés Arrimadas, has traveled to Barcelona this morning to file a complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) for alleged disobedience and continued prevarication against the Minister of Education, Josep González-Cambray, who has described as "bully" for "coercing" the directors of the center to "skip" the court ruling that requires the teaching of 25% of the subjects in Spanish.

For Ciudadanos, the Government's decision not to apply this sentence, which set today, June 1, as the limit for its entry into force, is an example of the "mafia practices" that characterize, in their opinion, the management of the Catalan executive, whom Carlos Carrizosa has accused of "pointing out" the children of the parents who demand the execution of the sentence as a way of "threatening" and "shutting up" the families.

"Today there is no child studying in Spanish in Catalan classrooms," lamented the president of Ciudadanos en Catalunya, for whom Minister Cambray "flags" for giving instructions to school directors who seek to "avoid" the obligation to apply the percentage of Castilian ruled by justice. "The Minister is very gallito in public statements," Arrimadas has seconded him, for whom later, "before the judge", the nationalist politicians themselves back down and deny their "daydream".

Carrizosa, who has thanked the presence of Arrimadas for the "symbolic value" that the president of Ciudadanos has in Catalonia, where she led the party in the fall of 2017, in the most hectic stage of the independence process, has denounced the "outrage" that is the Cambray decision for the rights of Catalan children. And she has pointed out that this shows, in her opinion, "to what extent the nationalists are capable of imposing their totalitarian theses."

Both Carrizosa and Arrimadas have charged against the Government of Spain, the current one but also the previous ones, and significantly those of the PP, for "abandoning the Catalans" and allowing the resolution on Castilian to be breached by tolerating that the Government "violates" with an "infamous decree" a judicial sentence that, in the opinion of Ciudadanos, is "very clear".

On the other hand, Arrimadas has celebrated the change of opinion of Vox, which has agreed to request an opinion from the Consell de Garanties Estatutàries (CGE) on the decree law approved by the Government, which will make it possible for the Parliamentary Board to process it, since two parliamentary groups are necessary and the PP, which has also announced that it is joining the initiative, does not enjoy that definition because the pro-independence majority in the Chamber interprets that the mixed group does not have enough deputies.
