Cervera will install cameras at the entrances to the municipality to improve security

The Paeria de Cervera will soon place cameras at all entrances to the city to improve security, especially for companies and businesses.

It was announced by Mayor Jan Pomés, who explained that this is one of the demands made by the businessmen of the industrial estate in a recent meeting they held to find out what their needs are in relation to the municipal budgets.

Budgets that the mayor hopes to have completed between November and December so that they can begin to be applied from January.

The PSC has taken stock of the first 100 days of government after winning the mayor's office with an agreement with Junts and assures that they have managed to "correct methodologies" of economic efficiency.

Mayor Jan Pomés has assured that the objective of the government team is to achieve "sustainable budgets" for the year 2024. This after when they arrived at the mayor's office they found unpaid invoices from the previous government team that was led by ERC with an agreement with the CUP and Junts.

According to Pomés, the situation was "chaotic" and the house staff could not cope. Now, he assures that everything is already taken care of with measures such as expanding the number of people in Intervention from 3 to 7 to be able to address all economic issues.

To prepare the budgets, Pomés says he speaks with entities, associations, businesses and businessmen in the city. Recently he has visited the industrial estate's businessmen who have conveyed a series of requests to the government team such as improving security.

For this reason, Pomés has announced that they have already contacted the Department of the Interior to install video surveillance cameras and license plate readers at all entrances to the city.

The industrial area's businessmen also asked for improvements to the asphalt and sidewalks in the industrial zone.

Pomés has insisted that it is necessary to make a "generational leap" and manage to break "historical conflicts" in the capital of La Segarra, and in this sense he has assured that the businessmen told him that they had been "abandoned" for many years and that it was the first time anyone listened to them.
