The trap singer Cecilio G has apologized on his social networks "to the Sónar workers who had to put up with me" last Thursday, when he was arrested for attacking a law enforcement officer. The singer attacked a Mosso d'Esquadra and a private security agent from the festival causing them "slight injuries", sources from the Catalan police explained to La Vanguardia.
Cecilio G was in an area of the Fira de Montjuïc to which he did not have access as he had attended the festival as a spectator and he started it with the security guards when they informed him that he could not be there.

The regional police explained that on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. they received a notice from Sónar that a person who was "very agitated and upset" was causing "an altercation" inside the venue.
