Catalonia will be the community that will receive the most aid from the Automotive Perte in the first call. The two most powerful projects are that of Seat-Volkswagen (although the battery factory will be in Sagunt, Valencia) and that of the company hub that wants to occupy the space of the old Nissan in the Zona Franca.
In an event organized by the Femcat business group, the Secretary of Industry of the Spanish Government, Raül Blanco, has assured that in the aid allocation process "Catalonia will be in the first line".
The number two of the Ministry of Industry has added that this Tuesday the detail of the assignment and the beneficiary communities will be known. The company that will receive the highest volume of public resources is Seat-Volkswagen, which will double the money obtained by any other manufacturer. Regarding the 167 million that were initially assigned, it is now expected that that amount will be at least doubled.
Blanco's statements were made at the XII Femcat Forum which is being held today in La Pedrera in Barcelona. The day was inaugurated by the resident of Femcat, David Marín.
The president of Fluidra, Eloi Planes, participated in one of the talks. The businessman has explained how they have evolved since they went public in relation to environmental sustainability.
