Castilla y León work calendar 2024: these are the holidays, long weekends this year and Easter

The Junta de Castilla y León has already defined the calendar of work holidays in the Community for the year 2024, where April 23, Community Day, returns as a holiday after falling on a Sunday this year, and the holiday of Santiago, July 25, promoted by Vox in 2023.

The spokesperson for the Board, Carlos Fernández Carriedo, has indicated that this calendar has been established "in response to the productive system, social demands and respect for the traditional festivals of Castilla y León." Also questioned about whether his Government partner, Vox, has demanded to keep July 25 as a holiday, the spokesperson stated that this agreement is precisely the result of the agreement of the Social Dialogue and the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment, in the hands from Vox. The holidays in 2024 are as follows.

- January 1 (Monday), New Year.

- January 6 (Saturday), Epiphany of the Lord.

- March 28 (Thursday), Holy Thursday.

- March 29 (Friday), Good Friday.
