Casemiro considers going to Manchester United

Casemiro has become in the last few hours the great current issue of Real Madrid. Manchester United has not contacted the white club, but has made an offer to the player to pressure Madrid to let him leave without having to pay the one billion termination clause. Casemiro extended his contract with the Whites last season until 2025. Sources from Concha Espina admit right now that the player is weighing up his future and that his decision has not been made.

Regardless of what Casemiro thinks or decides, Madrid is not in the business of letting the 30-year-old player out right now. And much less let it go at a bargain price. The midfielder is considered indispensable by Carlo Ancelotti.

According to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, the Red Devils have offered the Brazilian midfielder a dream contract for five years. United's poor start to the season has precipitated things. Said contract would double the 10.5 million euros gross that the player receives at Real Madrid per season.

The feeling in Madrid is that the English offer has made Casemiro reconsider and ask himself, as happened to Raphael Varane last summer, if his time at Madrid would be over and if it would not be better for him to try new challenges in other leagues. In that sense, the attractiveness of the Premier is unquestionable.

Contrary to this idea is the vision of Manchester United right now being a club in the midst of a crisis and that this season it could not play in the Champions League.

In favor of Casemiro's departure, however, is the fact that this summer the white club has signed Tchouaméni, who is supposed to be the natural replacement for Casemiro. However, the Frenchman played against Almería and seemed very green. After the match, Ancelotti assured that Casemiro and Tchouaméni are not at all incompatible and that more than once they will be able to play in the same eleven.

Casemiro had his ups and downs last season, but he was an undisputed starter and played all the big games. In the recent European Super Cup against Eintracht he was chosen the MVP of the match.

The person who is in Madrid to try to persuade Casemiro to go to the Premier is John Murtough, Manchester United's director of football. Although such a possibility at first seemed distant, in the British press it is commented that the situation has changed in the last few hours and the operation no longer seems impossible.

In the United offices yesterday morning there was a certain optimism and they admitted more openly that Casemiro had become a priority target. Casemiro has the floor, and Madrid awaits a firm offer.
