Carlos Mazón predicts "very tough budgets due to the management of the Botànic"

The 'president' of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, has pointed out that the Consell is heading towards the first budgets of the legislature, which he has predicted will be "very tough, due to a regrettable economic situation inherited" from the Botànic government.

This is how the head of the Consell expressed himself this Monday in statements to the media in Sant Vicent del Raspeig (Alicante), where he took stock of his government's actions in the first months of his mandate, before facing the second control session with questions from PSPV and Compromís about his first hundred days at the head of the Consell.

"We are heading towards first budgets that are very tough, due to a regrettable inherited economic situation, with the worst debt and the worst deficit in history, with the worst investment of a socialist government in history. Therefore, with extraordinary accounts difficult," he predicted.

However, he stated that they will begin a "path of recovery, openness, open arms and to enhance investment, which then gives social cohesion." Furthermore, Mazón has been "satisfied" with the work they are doing and has rejected the "excuses." "We will tell the truth about what we are finding to the Valencians, but that will not be an excuse to move forward," he maintained.

Likewise, he pointed out that they have announced the "first important package of social deductions in personal income tax" for the "most needy" people, the "important reduction" of the housing tax or reductions in the water fee. Likewise, he has defended the bureaucratic simplification that "is suffocating SMEs, companies and the self-employed in the relationship with the administration."

Finally, he mentioned the reversion to public management of some hospitals and the maintenance of indirect management of others. To this end, he has defended that they have not thought "about prejudice, or ideology, but about the quality of care, about reducing waiting lists, about the effectiveness of the system, and not about prejudices that may exist about the system."

On the other hand, questioned about the PSPV amendment to the Consell's fiscal policies, Mazón has asserted that the socialists "do not have many arguments to talk about what is done in fiscal matters."

In this sense, he has accused the PSPV of having "taxed like never before, having had the greatest tax burden, the greatest fiscal pressure in history, driven by the most expensive government in history, with the most politicians in history and the most casuals in history." history". "What is
