Carlos Mazón applauds the "responsible attitude" of Vox to try to facilitate the investiture of Feijóo

The president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón, has highly valued the "responsible attitude" of Vox, his government partner in the Generalitat Valenciana, to try to facilitate the investiture of Alberto Núñez Feijóo without conditions and without entering the Government. For Mazón, the decision of the formation led by Santiago Abascal -which yesterday released a statement assuring that Vox will not be anyone's excuse or the impediment to avoid a government of those who intend to destroy the foundations of the Constitution-, goes "in good way" to achieve the objective of a "constitutional" government chaired by the national leader of the PP.

In statements to the media after an institutional visit to the Elche city council (directed by the also popular Pablo Ruz at the head of a bipartisan with Vox), Mazón has indicated that Santiago Abascal's party has made "sensible and responsible planning" towards "what Spain needs, which is a constitutional government chaired by Alberto Núñez Feijóo".

We must not forget that, in Elx, the PP governs despite not being the force with the most votes thanks to the vote of the extreme right. In fact, the Elche capital is one of those that contradicts the PP's line of argument that the force with the most votes should govern.

"I am very happy about this responsible attitude on the part of Vox because I think it is moving forward on the right path," the head of the Consell stressed to journalists, Mazón has opted for responsibility "and not another way" to "resolve a situation that if it doesn't go well, it could be very bad for Spain, and especially for the Valencian Community, which is my priority".

As he has done since 23-J, Mazón has stressed his support for the options of Núñez Feijóo because he is the one who "has all the merits for having won the elections" and for embodying "the seriousness of a constitutional project for Spain and, of course, being the best option that the Valencian Community has".

Following these statements, the PSPV trustee in Les Corts, Rebeca Torró, has indicated that "Mazón is delighted to be the hostage of Vox" and has censured that he embraces "the postulates of the extreme right and uses the Valencian Community as his laboratory". As an example, he has given the case of Torrevieja where, according to the Socialists, "Mazón has vetoed a center for minors, which is also subsidized with European funds."
