A place as attractive for politics as Barcelona is and so few clear candidates for mayor. With the departure of Elsa Artadi, Junts has so many problems finding a replacement that they raised the rescue of former mayor Xavier Trias. All this while speculation continues about a possible landing of Salvador Illa or Miquel Iceta by the PSC, although the former insists that the candidate will be Jaume Collboni. In ERC, Ernest Maragall will be the poster, although a number two woman is looking for who could be the replacement for the future. And in the PP the situation is also precarious and there are those who are considering the return of Alberto Fernández. Ada Colau was not supposed to repeat a third term for the commons and now it turns out that is the only sure thing.
