Canary Islands work calendar 2024: these are the holidays, long weekends this year and Easter

This Monday, the Government of the Canary Islands approved the 2024 work calendar for the Autonomous Community, in which holidays are established, within the annual limit of fourteen days.

Canary Islands work calendar 2024: these are the holidays, long weekends this year and Easter

This Monday, the Government of the Canary Islands approved the 2024 work calendar for the Autonomous Community, in which holidays are established, within the annual limit of fourteen days. The work calendar of the Canary Islands does not include December 8, 2024, the day of the Immaculate Conception, as it falls on a Sunday.

The town councils, for their part, will decide in their plenary sessions up to two non-working days, paid and recoverable, as local festivals that are traditionally their own. Next, the non-working days due to holidays on all the islands and, further down, the work holidays by island.
