Belén Esteban debuts as a sports presenter on the radio: "I'm going to live it like a crazy woman"

Belén Esteban, who has become a familiar face in Spanish homes after 20 years on television and a long stay in Sálvame, has decided to try her luck in completely new territory. In this way, Esteban has debuted as a sports announcer on Cadena SER, participating in the program Carrusel Deportivo. Her appearance at the Civitas Metropolitano to comment on the match between Atlético de Madrid and Mallorca left listeners speechless.

Her arrival at the commentary booth was a total surprise for many, including sports journalist Dani Garrido, director of Carrusel Deportivo, who admitted his astonishment at Esteban's participation: "I was perplexed by the possibility of her accepting."

In a day full of emotions, Esteban shared his enthusiasm on social media, expressing his love for the "team of his soul." The famous colchonera was received by the president of Atlético de Madrid, Enrique Cerezo, and he wore a t-shirt with the screen print La Patrona, a nickname that he likes to use. "I'm going to live it like crazy," he admitted.

In her debut on the airwaves, Belén Esteban not only read the Atlético de Madrid lineup, but also shared with listeners her passion for the team since childhood. "My mother gave birth to me with the shield," he commented, revealing his favorite players: Antoine Griezmann, Álvaro Morata and Koke Resurrección, and his admiration for coach Diego Pablo Simeone.

Esteban dedicated this experience to his family, especially mentioning his brothers and nephews, fervent followers of Atlético de Madrid. In addition, she winked at her husband, Miguel Marcos, a Real Madrid fan, joking about the possibility of making him change teams. Nor was she forgotten her daughter Andrea, 24 years old, who although she lives in the United States shares the red and white passion.

Fortunately, the day concluded with Atlético de Madrid's victory over Mallorca with a solitary goal from Griezmann, a result that Esteban celebrated by dedicating his participation to his family and all Atlético fans around the world.
