Bayern do not include Lewandowski in their latest commercial

Both Bayern Munich and Barça offer few clues, if any, about the state of the negotiations for the transfer of Robert Lewandowski, desired by the Catalans and retained, for the moment, by the German champion, who has, however, dispensed of the Pole's image in his latest commercial.

Despite being the absolute star of the team, top scorer this season with 50 goals in 46 games, Lewandowski does not appear in the video published by the German entity to announce the extension of the agreement with the video game company Konami, with which they already had a deal since 2019.

For almost two minutes the images of footballers such as Müller, Kimmich, Neuer and Sané, among others, alternate, but at no time can the Pole be seen, which could indicate that Bayern are beginning to give up their player despite his repeated public statements defending a totally contrary position.

At the moment, Lewandowski is on vacation in Mallorca waiting for his future to unravel. The striker has always been firm in his intention to leave Bayern this summer, with whom he has a contract until 2023, to land at Barça, who in order to face the operation must activate the famous 'levers'.

Bayern will start the preseason on July 12, the date on which Lewandowski is scheduled to arrive to prepare for the 2022-23 season, which would be his ninth year with the Teutonic team since his arrival in 2014. "Our position is clear: Robert has a contract. I hope we'll see him at Säbener Strasse for training on July 12," Hasan Salihamidzic, Bayern's sporting director, said in a recent interview.

According to several media outlets, Barça is willing to offer between 40 and 50 million to convince Bayern, which for the moment would have rejected the first proposals from the Barça club. For its part, the current Bundesliga champion has signed striker Sadio Mané for a total amount that would be around 40 million euros.
