Barcelona and Olympiacos meet this Friday in the first game of the season and of the Euroleague group stage. The Catalans start with a tall rival, whom they defeated last year in the consolation final (84-74) of the highest continental competition.
The Barça team will not be able to count this time on the top scorer of that game, power forward Nikola Mirotic, since last season's MVP will miss the initial stretch of the course due to an Achilles tendon injury in his left foot.
