Barça was proclaimed champion of the Copa del Rey after defeating Deportivo Liceo (2-4) this Sunday in the final, played at the Joan Ortoll Municipal Pavilion in Calafell (Tarragona). With this title, the Barça team reaffirmed its historic dominance in the competition, which it has won 25 times and in six of the last seven editions.

In a start with a lot of rhythm, Barça struck first through Joao Rodrigues, who opened the scoring (0-1, min.3) with a quick first strike that came in tight on the post.
