Aubameyang suffered another assault on his home in July and 1.5 million worth of jewelry was stolen

The family of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alysha Behague and the couple's children, Pierre and Curtys, aged six and eleven, have not slept in their house in Castelldefels for two nights. They are afraid after suffering a terrible violent assault early Monday morning, when four hooded men entered the house too easily and after assaulting the player and his wife, they spent nearly an hour searching the house until they took what they wanted. The victims received a visit yesterday afternoon at the hotel where they are staying from the Mossos d'Esquadra from the robbery group of the criminal investigation division (DIC). They are the same police officers who were already investigating the assault with force that the family suffered on July 17.

In fact, the investigators do not rule out that it is the same specialized criminal organization. On that occasion, the assailants forcibly entered the house, recently purchased, and stole jewelry and watches valued at one and a half million euros, according to the complaint filed by the couple.

That time, the woman was in the house with the children and the service personnel, but the assault was silent and they noticed when the thieves had already left the house. The loot, however, was tremendous, a million and a half in jewelry and luxury watches, without even opening the safe.

After that assault, Barcelona's security officials agreed with the player to improve the security of his home. "And that's where we were", acknowledges La Vanguardia a person in charge of the club's board of directors, who admits that the possibility that the striker ends up leaving Barcelona this season diverted attention from the issue of the security of his home.

In any case, on Monday, around one in the morning, at least four hooded men entered the house, according to El País. They did it with total ease, climbing one of the walls of the street. They crossed the garden and entered the house where they found the couple awake.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had not long since arrived at the house, which he bought as soon as he signed for Barcelona. On Sunday night he was summoned by Xavi Hernández in the match against Valladolid, but he did not play. Of course, at the end of the game he was training for an hour at the Camp Nou with the rest of the players who did not touch the ball in the match.

The thieves agreed displaying great violence. They slapped the woman, hit her on the head and even dragged her on the ground, grabbed by her long hair. The man tried to come to his defense and was hit in the jaw with a shotgun butt.

The couple's two children witnessed the robbery and remained during the long hour that the assailants remained in the house with their parents, without anything happening to them other than the tension and fear suffered during the terrible sequence.

The thieves just wanted to know the combination to the safe and take all the valuables. Outside, a white Audi was at the wheel of what would be the fifth member of the gang for the entire duration of the assault. The victims assured the citizen security patrols of the Mossos de Castelldefels that they seemed to have heard an Italian accent. The researchers are more inclined towards a professionalized band of Kosovar Albanians, although it is early days.

Throughout the day yesterday, the scientific police of the Mossos and the investigators of the robbery group worked in the house. The family will remain, for the moment, in a well-known hotel in Barcelona because both the children, the woman and the player, say they feel "uneasy" about returning to a home they bought with all their enthusiasm.

Other players in the squad contacted the club's board yesterday to improve their security. Most of them have uniformed private security personnel in their homes at night and some have expanded their presence from six in the evening.
