At least 20 people have died this Wednesday and another 37 have been injured of varying severity when a bus in which they were traveling overturned on a road in the province of Juribga, in central Morocco.
The accident occurred on national highway number 11 in the municipality of Bulnuar, when the bus -coming from the city of Casablanca- lost control on a curve and overturned, as reported by the local authorities, who stressed that This is a provisional number of victims.
The same sources have also indicated that medical teams from the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Health in Juribga, Civil Protection and members of the local and security authorities have traveled to the scene of the incident, and have added that the injured have been admitted in the hospital of the same city.
Likewise, the authorities - under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office - have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.
