Members of the Malaga Local Police have arrested a 43-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of abuse in the family towards his mother and attack on an authority agent, to which is added alleged abuse towards his dog.

The events took place around 4:40 p.m. last Saturday, February 10, when agents from a team of the Malaga Local Police showed up on Andarax Street after learning that a man was mistreating his dog, which he had tied to a chain. strap while hitting him with a chain he was carrying in his other hand, the Local Police said in a statement.

After locating him, the local police proceeded to identify him, the individual maintaining a hostile attitude at all times and going so far as to leave the dog hanging in suspension, lifting it by the leash, for which he was informed by the agents that he was going to be reported for such facts, accompanying him to his home to be identified, since he did not have his documentation or that of the animal.

Once in his home, the man continued mistreating the dog, which he threw into the house and then addressed his mother in a derogatory manner, saying: "Go to the car and give them the papers." and also kick her in the buttocks and rudely take her out of the building.

Given the attitude, one of the local police officers proceeded to mediate, at which point the individual hit him hard in the chest with his arm, being immediately subdued and detained, after which he was transferred to the police station to later be placed in custody. judicial provision.

In relation to the dog, the Nature Protection Group of the Local Police (Gruprona) will carry out monitoring to verify that the health status of the animal is optimal, as well as to proceed to correct any possible infractions that are detected.
