Arrested a family clan that robbed the home of a well-known First Division coach

The Civil Guard of Valencia, within the framework of the 'Nebok' operation, has arrested 15 people from the same family clan for a series of robberies and thefts in the national territory, as reported by the Armed Institute in a statement.

The operation began when the Civil Guard became aware of a series of robberies and thefts in homes located in the provinces of Alicante, Barcelona, ​​Castellón and Valencia by the same family clan.

Following the steps taken by the investigative team to date, it has already been possible to determine part of the provenance of the recovered jewels that had been stolen from a home belonging to a well-known football coach in the highest category.

This criminal organization was organized in a hierarchical way and with well-defined functions for each step. The alleged perpetrators used different 'modus operandi' to commit the criminal acts, such as the slip procedure, carelessness or forcing doors and windows.

As a result of this operation, the investigators discovered that the alleged perpetrators belonged to a family clan from the Balkan countries. It was a national and international traveling group. They carried out their crimes with the help of walkie-talkies, using and getting rid of phone cards, vehicles, and continually changing addresses, countries, and areas where the crimes were committed.

The alleged perpetrators lived and accumulated cash from the money obtained in the robberies. In addition, they used different false identities using driving licenses and identity documents, which had been used to stay overnight in hotels and pensions. This clan also deceived a third person who sold them two Rolex watches for 40,000 euros, paid with counterfeit money. Those people who bought the stolen jewelry in the homes have also been arrested.

Finally, on May 2, the Valencia Civil Guard carried out four house searches in the municipalities of Alcàsser (Valencia), Sagunt (Valencia), Vinaroz (Castellón) and Torrevieja (Alicante).

The result was the arrest of 15 people between the ages of 19 and 63 and of Czech, Croat, Serb and Bosnian nationality for the crimes of belonging to a criminal organization, continued crime of robbery with force of things, continued crime of theft, money laundering, documentary falsification, reception and fraud.

In the records, jewelry and watches worth 900,000 euros, a walkie-talkie, false number plates and falsified personal documentation and five vehicles with a value of 50,000 euros have been found. In addition, various objects were found such as high-end tools, compressors, generator sets, sports equipment, bicycles, scooters, game consoles, catalysts, metal detectors, quads and everything valued at more than 150,000 euros. Finally, more than 50,000 euros in cash were found.

The investigation has been carried out by agents of the Civil Guard of the Company of Llíria. The proceedings have been delivered to the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 2 of Llíria. The entry into prison of 14 of the detainees has been decreed.
