The President of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, thanked the officials for their work in carrying out their responsibilities in a context of "economic and social difficulties". In a letter to public workers, Aragonès sent a message of support and highlighted his contribution to making Catalonia "a more just, prosperous, green, feminist and free country". In the letter, the president also had words of gratitude towards the ministers of Junts who left office two weeks ago.
Aragonès has transferred its recognition to public workers for their "tireless task" and for their "vocation for public service". “Your knowledge is essential to offer the best service to citizens and this is very important in a context of difficulties”, he stated.
The president of the Generalitat has also listed, in the letter, the objectives on which the Government will work in this new stage: "Attend to the urgencies of the moment, reinforce the transformation of the country and with force issues such as the determination to decide the future of Catalonia”.
The letter concludes with a thank you to the ministers who stepped down from their post a few days ago, as the president did publicly at the inauguration of the successors. Aragonès expressed his satisfaction at having jointly promoted "many positive actions for citizens". Likewise, he believes that with the new ministers they will continue to carry out "initiatives focused on improving people's lives" and has highlighted his assumption of office despite being "in a complicated moment".
