Aragonés signs the ex-convergent Carles Campuzano for Social Rights

The president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, has signed the ex-convergent Carles Campuzano to head the Department of Social Rights that Violant Cervera left vacant after the withdrawal of Government Boards.

Campuuzano (Vilanova and La Geltrú) was elected in 1992 as a deputy in the Parlament (1992-1995) and in 1996 he won a seat as a deputy in the Congress of Deputies, forming part of it for seven legislatures. He was a member of the National Executive Committee of the Democratic Convergence of Catalonia. In June 2016 he participated in the founding congress of the Catalan European Democratic Party (PDeCAT).

The movement of Aragonès adding an ex-convergent to the new Executive is added to what La Vanguardia had advanced minutes before placing ex-socialist Quim Nadal as Minister of Universities in place of Gemma Geis.

It is expected that Aragonès will soon announce the list of the rest of the councilors with whom he wants to continue the legislature after the Government Meetings leave.
