The Summerfest Cerdanya festival raises the curtain tonight on its premiere edition, with a performance by Antonio Orozco in the Camí de Sant Marc de Puigcerdà (9 p.m.).
This new addition to the Catalan festival summer is going to make Cerdanya one of the areas with the greatest musical intensity this August, as it joins the Cerdanya Music Festival, which started last Thursday. The coincidence in the dates does not occur in its location, since the newly born appointment is located in the vicinity of Puigcerdà while the veteran (born last year) organized by Concert Studio, settles on the way to Llívia. The new proposal that sees the light today will run until the 27th of this month, offering a total of eight concerts under the initiative of Clipper's Live (responsible for events such as the Cap Roig Festival, the Cambrils Music Festival or the Barcelona Suite Festival with the Liceu) and El Baliu.
In addition to the opening of the sanguine and dedicated Antonio Orozco, the poster also includes some of the most outstanding artists and proposals from the national and local scene such as Nil Moliner, El Pot Petit, Dani Martín, Lola Índigo, Sergio Dalma, Els Pets and Taburete .

In addition to the big concerts that will take place on the main stage, the Pyrenean Summerfest has a Village space, organized by Tipis Cerdanya, and where before and after the concerts (from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.) the attendees They will be able to enjoy a program of activities and workshops, a market area, a stage with live music, as well as a wide gastronomic offer from Cal Blay Food Lovers. Today, for example, the previous performance by Jxta Martin is announced and, later, a session by DJ Gasky.
A few hours before the start of the festival, the president of the Clipper's group, Juli Guiu (and vice president of FC Barcelona) affirms that "we are very excited about the great reception we are receiving from the public.
