The Red Cross has attended this Sunday in the port of Alicante to 15 migrants located this day in Benidorm (Alicante), as reported by the humanitarian entity.
After learning of the arrival of these immigrants, this organization has activated the Immediate Emergency Response Team for humanitarian assistance to migrants (ERIE AHIC).
In this way, and once located this Sunday morning after having arrived on the coast of Benidorm, the Red Cross has paid attention to them in the port of the Alicante capital.
The arrival of these 15 people occurs only one day after Maritime Rescue personnel have rescued this Saturday two new boats with 14 and 16 people on board about 30 and 20 miles from the coasts of Santa Pola and Xàbia. In addition, last Wednesday a boat was rescued with 13 people on board between Altea and Calp; another two on Thursday with 15 and 14 people on board 50 and 33 miles off the coast of Alicante, respectively; and two more between last Saturday and Sunday morning: one in Xàbia and another in Vila Joiosa.
