Angels, Juan Roig's investment company, bets on the technology company Fourvenues

Fourvenues, a technology company specializing in the development of advanced software for the leisure sector, has successfully closed an investment round of one million euros in which Angels, Juan Roig's investment company, as well as Archipelago Next and Draper B1, have invested , who revalidate their bet by investing again in the company.

Draper B1 also recently shared investment with Angels in the operation of Imperia SCM, a software startup that meets the needs of companies in their demand planning, production and purchasing processes, whose investment round of 300,000 euros was recently closed with the participation of both.

In just four years, Fourvenues has managed to create a portfolio of more than 300 clients and have a presence in 5 countries. In the first half of 2022, the platform achieved a global turnover of 12 million euros and they plan to close the year with a total of 40 million. Among its clients are important brands in the sector such as: Teatro Barceló, Grupo Costa Este, Sutton, Sala Sonora or Live Punta Umbría.

The young entrepreneur Alberto Centeno thus complies with all the steps of the Marina de Empresas entrepreneurship hub: he trained at EDEM where he studied a degree in Business Administration; later his project, at that time under the name of Discocil, was promoted by the Lanzadera accelerator, and now, with this investment, he becomes part of the Angels portfolio.

“It is a pride that Juan Roig's investment company joins the purpose of professionalizing and promoting our industry. The magnitude of the leisure sector is enormous and we want to value its role in society and in the economy. We are going to continue working on improving the day-to-day lives of the people who make up the sector and we will not stop until we take this industry to where it deserves to be”, affirms Alberto Centeno, CEO of Fourvenues.

"We value Alberto's leadership capacity very positively and we believe that Fourvenues provides an innovative solution in the leisure industry, which provides a higher level of professionalization in management and helps businessmen in the decision-making process", says Pepe Peris, director of Angels.

The startup was supported from the beginning by the network of private investors BIGBAN through its BSF18 vehicle; which is now divested through this secondary sale. "At BIGBAN we have supported Fourvenues from the beginning, but the time has come to make way for other strategic investors who can help the company continue to grow," says Victoria Majadas, president of BIGBAN Inversores Privados.

Angels recently announced its investment in Dcycle, a startup whose environmental intelligence tool is capable of measuring and reducing the carbon footprint of companies. In the round, another million euros were invested, in addition to Juan Roig's vehicle, by the firms Draper B1, Ship2B Ventures and Banco Sabadell's BStartup.
