Imperia SCM, a startup that develops software to meet the needs of companies in their demand planning, production and purchasing processes, has successfully closed an investment round of 300,000 euros in which Angels, an investment company from Juan Roig, and Draper B1.

With the operation, the startup has the objective of launching a new version of its product and establishing itself in the national market. “It is an honor to be invested by two benchmarks like Angels and Draper B1. With the round we will be able to make a leap in value to continue growing and continue to demonstrate our value against the big players in the planning market”, says Álvaro Bernabé, CEO of Imperia SCM.

Imperia SCM was born in 2019, the same year in which it was promoted by the Lanzadera accelerator. The technology company has democratized the use of management platforms for the supply chain by developing a Cloud solution that allows companies to manage and optimize operational planning processes. The startup has clients from the consumer goods sector, such as Noel Alimentaria or Velarte. It also has clients from the cosmetic and pharmaceutical sectors, among others.

In addition to the new version of the product, the round will allow the startup to expand its staff to 35 people and develop a plan to position itself as a standard tool for the operational planning of companies. "The market is welcoming our solution with open arms, since there was a latent unresolved need," adds Álvaro Bernabé.

"We invested in Imperia SCM because of its clear value proposition to its customers, who are able to have a better sales forecast and thus improve their productivity," explains Pepe Peris, general manager of Angels.

Raquel Bernal, managing partner of Draper B1, also explains that "we invested in Imperia SCM due to the growing demand for the standardization and digitization of SME planning processes. In addition, the team has been able to build a solution that has been validated with important clients.
