Ana Obregón has been in the media spotlight since the news was confirmed last March that she had become the mother of Ana Sandra at the age of 68 through surrogacy, something that caused a great debate in our country. Later, it was learned that not only would she play the role of the little girl's mother, but she is also her grandmother, since the little girl was conceived with the sperm of her son who died in May 2020, Aless Lequio. . Very often, the actress shares images of her little girl on her social networks, and she has also been seen posing with her on some covers ... something that creates controversy and something that Obregón has spoken about.
The actress is receiving a lot of criticism on social networks, not only for her age and for having welcomed surrogacy, but also for exposing the little girl. Many consider this exposure to be a contradiction, since she promoted child protection when Aless was under 18 years of age. This Saturday, Socialité spoke with Javier Urra, who was Ombudsman for Minors in the Community of Madrid between 1996 and 2001.
"I had the honor of being the first Ombudsman for Minors and [Ana Obregón] came to the institution, as did Isabel Gemio, Marta Robles or many well-known, famous people, so that the image of their children would be respected. I think we must respect the image of children", expressed Urra to the program produced by La Fábrica de la Tele. "I understand his joy, his affection, his desire to share. I don't want to believe that there are economic interests in a magazine. I will not be the one to judge him as a person," she said in the interview.
After these statements and the infinity of criticism received, Obregón decided to grant some statements to the program, which have not gone unnoticed. Ana Obregón assures that almost all celebrities publish photos with her children and that she does not understand why she should not do it. "Of course I was the one who fought the most in defense of the minor. And I will continue to do so," she began by telling the Nuria Marín program.
"That is why I have managed to get the media to pixelate the faces of minors. But whatever a mother or a grandmother or a father decides to do with their children, I do not see the crime in doing it," said the actress and presenter. "I am proud to be able to boast of a daughter of my Aless, so desired, as mothers and grandmothers boast. I have been sharing my pain through the networks for three years and all the compassion of the people has helped me a lot," he continued explaining.
"I think that now my followers also deserve to share the ray of light that has entered my hell and, on the other hand, every human being is free to do whatever they want as long as they do not harm anyone or commit a crime. I don't understand the controversy and I don't care exactly the same. At this point, what four cats say tickles me," says the biologist before the program's microphones. And it is that Ana wants to involve all those who have been with her during these three hard years of the happiness that she feels now.
In his statements to the program, Javier Urra asks Ana Obregón to reflect on this matter. "With all the love. With all the humility. Do not transmit to the girl who replaces a father that she will not meet [...] in the future, but in an optimistic, hopeful way, for her life, not for yours," he says.
